in a few words
“As far as I can remember I have used writing and painting to express myself. Through these means I can communicate with others about emotions and thoughts I do not share in daily life.
During the 1970s I wrote poems, short stories and one novel in French. Some of this work was published in local reviews.
In New York, at the height of the AIDS crisis, a very dark time for me, I created ink on paper compositions. My work was shown in SoHo galleries. One art critic wrote that my work was ‘not an intellectual exercise; it [was] a visceral expression, a release of creative energy.’
In 2017, I completed a writing project in English, “At the Lost and Found”, a general fiction, a coming-of-age story based on actual events.”

« Depuis toujours j’ai utilisé écrits et peinture pour communiquer et « parler » d’émotions et de pensées que je ne partageais pas dans la langue de tous les jours.
Pendant les années 70, j’ai écrit des poèmes, des nouvelles et un roman, dont certains ont été publiés.
A New York, au milieu de la crise du sida, une sombre période pour moi, j’ai développé une technique d’encres sur papier. Mon travail a été exposé dans des galeries de SoHo. Un critique d’art a écrit que mon travail n’était pas « un produit intellectuel mais une explosion d’énergie enracinée dans le corps. »
En 2017, après une longue gestation, j’ai mis le point final à un texte en anglais, Aux objets trouvés, roman inspiré d’évènements réels. »
